Rams For Sale

I have finally gotten a few pictures of this year's lambs (2009) - more and better ones coming.  Right now, the Shetlands are out in pasture, so are a bit difficult to pose for pretty pictures!  But I wanted to get some sale information up on the website before Jefferson (we are about 15 - 20 minutes from the fairgrounds, so anyone attending the Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival who is considering purchasing sheep - we are very convenient to the festivities!).  We also have two yearling rams for sale - good horns on both of them.  All are registered or "registerable".

We offer a 10% discount to anyone purchasing three or more sheep.  A 50% deposit is asked of anyone when they have selected the sheep they are interested in.  We do not guarantee horns, as our lambs are priced relatively inexpensively.

Saffron's ram - 9015 - This is a very nice fawn katmoget ram.  Single, DOB 4/27/09 - if we didn't already have a nice fawn katmoget ram, I would consider keeping him.  His horns are the more delicate type.  The white ewe in the photo on the left is his mother.  Dam:  Maplewood Saffron, Sire:  PS23 Edinburagh  $125  SOLD

9148 - DOB 4/27/09, twin.  Fawn/musket katmoget ram, slightly wooly tail.  It's been dreary and rainy lately, so I apologize for the picture quality - the fleece is a bit damp, but these two shots should give you an idea about his overall coloring and his horns.  Dam:  Maplewood Lavender, Sire:  PS23 Edinburagh  $100

196 - White twin ram, good wide horns, born 4/11/08.  Dam:  Maplewood Lavender, moorit smirslet ewe, carrying spots.  Sire:  Maplewood Onix, white.  $125   SOLD

206 - Musket twin ram, born 4/8/08.  The color isn't the greatest on the pics, but he is a nice "oatmealy" color and his horns are nice and wide.  Dam:  Maplewood Cappuccino (musket, always twins).  Sire:  Maplewood Onix (white).  $150
